My dream to go to college, started since before I finished high school. Through my school, at Sarasota High, I started working at GTE, while in the 12th grade, through a business course offered in those primitive days, before the computer. The kids today have all the advantages yet they have not the desire to bring their dreams to reality it is as though they gave up a long time ago, and now we see and hold evident the pain to NOT take heed of the call. So since I worked so much to pay bills, like a new car, etc...I couldn't afford to go to college.
I solved that by going into the military...they help to put me through college and I learned many valuable tools of life and I feel everyone who is born here should serve at least 1 to 2 years. This way we could all better appreciate our freedom.
